Hi. I have some questions about horses!
1. I've heard that horses have containers, BUT I can't figure out how to open the horse container. so... How do you do it? 2. I have heard from a friend something about horses with armor... Is that true?? can you buy horse armor? thanks

1. Go on horseback, open inventory.
2. No armors for horses.

You don't have to go on horseback :] Just stand very close to the horse until you see the cursor in the shape of horseshoe then open your inventory :]

Ummmm... and if the horse dies while holding stuff in the inventory, can you still loot it? I never even tried to put things in the horse's inventory, as I change the horse way too often.

I don't like the mounts, I prefer to just walk everywhere.

Yeah, horses mobility sucks. But there are two things that they are good for.
#1, storing stuff. You can fit 500 pounds of loot on them with no space restrictions, wheras your personal space is limited to two pages. #2, Long straights between teleport shrines. A horse can turn a 3 minute walk into a 45 second ride on a straight-away. So this is how I use them: Park your horse outside a city while you're using teleport shrines. If you want to use it to go somewhere in that city's vicinity to help haul loot, take it with you. When you're done, park it again. I have 4 mounts parked outside various cities, so that whenever I visit the city, I have a ride to nearby locations. YAY! lol BEWARE: Possible Spoiler info follows. I also used a mount for the trip from Qudimar to Gor Gamar, and didn't stop to fight anything on the way. I just rode the whole way straight through, only to realise that it was an Orc city and I couldn't get in. I didn't have that Orc camo armor at the time either. Fun times. ~KaneShade~ "I'd rather betray the world than allow the world to betray me." |
