I had the same problem under Vista.

See http://boards.topware.de/showthread.php?t=26167

The solution was: For anyone incapable of installing the ageia drivers, do it by adding in command line the command "/quiet" next to the executable of the installer of the ageia physx drivers.

Maybe this will help you, too.

You open a DOS box (command line). This can be done by clicking "Run..." and entering command.com. Then go to the directory where the Physx driver is located. I renamed it to "physx.exe" as this is more easy to type in the next step: enter "physx.exe /quiet" in the command line and press enter. The driver will be installed silently (without user feedback).

What if it doesnt? I did the run... part, command.com part (old dos prompt came up), moved the file to a normal folder and renamed to make it easier "physx.ex" then in the command line of the dos prompt i typed in c:\delete\physx.exe /quiet and nothing, it says C:\DELETE>physx.exe /quiet 'PHYSX.EXE' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

what did i do wrong?

I dont get what the hell you guys are doing, i followed your suggestions, moved the file to a neutral drive (i.e. c:delete) renamed the file (i.e. PhysX.exe) ran the run program then command.com got the dos window, then changed dir to c:\delete then ran c:\delete\PhysX.exe /quiet like you suggested but all i get is an error that says C:\DELETE\PhysX.exe is not a valid Win32 application. So again any SUGGESTIONS? thanks again

check the physx.exe file length.... correct is: 32 683 128 bytes.. in properties of this file is: 31.1MB...

::edit::

try also to download drivers from this path:
http://www.ageia.com/drivers/PhysX_7.05.06_SystemSoftware.exe
