Well I will humbly agree that most of my countrymen probably view the world that way, but I am not so lowly a person... why the hell are we bombing everyone anyway? what did they ever do to us?
Anyway, Communism is actually a very good economic system... It just... doesn't work in the real-world cus of real-world problems... it would work perfectly in a Utopia, though... (and, well... utopia means 'nowhere' ... lol)
Commies are good... just... misguided... blame Stalin, Mao, and Castro for giving Communism a bad name... heh

There's plenty of people who fight eachother in South America and Africa, but no dragons and a limited amount of cannibalism, if any... smile.gif ... one of the most violent of nations there is Rwanda, a tiny little place in central east Africa, along with Burundi... If I'm not mistaken, they've had a very bloody history together ever since the colonial era when their boundaries were setup by the Europeans (curse my ancestors and their imperialistic interfering ways)...

CASTRO? He's the one man who made communism WORK (to a degree)! Brought his country from a shit-poor carribean farming island, the sort of place the US likes to buy and nuke because there's nothing else to do with it, and made it pretty much the wealthies nation in Central America, with one of the best health-care systems in the world!

Problem is, all the rich people who'd worked for Batista ran off and colonized the US, since they didn't wanna share their money with everyone. They've pretty much taken over Florida entirely, so you'd never hear a good word about Cuba come from any US news source...

Anyway. Yes, McDonald's= bad. Same with Disney, in my opinion (still remember back when they tried to buy a big plot of land right next door and turn it into a theme park, the bastards... Kill 'em all, I say!)

Capitalists always say communism doesn't work because the Sovjet Union screwed up- but yeah, Cuba does a lot better then that.

Problem with communism is that people won't work harder if they don't have a chance of getting paid more.

Once again, I note that Cuba has far more doctors per capita than the US. They're pretty damn hardworking.

I think the whole idea is that, if you want a job much more glamorous than farmhand, you work for it. You work a lot- hell, what else you gonna do? I do believe there's a slight increase in quality of life that comes with high-end jobs, but the main motivator is to just do what you want.

But if you get the same pay as everybody, why would you try to deliver quality labour? For that, you'd need super motivated people, kinda like Japanese people. Or, as you say, Cubans.

You'd just need people who haven't come to expect money as the only real motivator in life. Americans wouldn't be able to adapt to a communist society at all for generations, simply because we're raised on greed.
